Which ECig Is Right For Me?

You’ve already made the decision to change from regular cigarettes to their electronic counterpart and you deserve a pat on the back! Well done for making that decision! Once you’ve made that important decision however, the hard part is basically over. Now all you need to do is pick a good ecig.

Now, if you’ve never smoke an electronic cigarette or personal vaporizer before in your life, things can seem a bit overwhelming. There are so many to choose from now. You’ve got massive tank-things from VaporFi and Halo, plus smaller ones like Blu Cigs and South Beach Smoke… Which one is right for you?

The easiest way to answer the question “Which ecig is right for me?” is to ask just one more:

What kind of smoker are you?

Are you a heavy smoker or a light smoker? Do you smoke very strong cigarettes or are you more of a ‘Marlboro Lights’ kinda guy/gal? Do you smoke five a day? Ten? Twenty? More than one packet?

In order to find the right ecig for you, you need to know what your usual smoking habits are.

If you’re a light smoker…

Let’s say you only really smoke when you are out with friends? Perhaps the occasional puff on a cheeky smoke or two on Friday nights when you’ve had one too many drinks and probably should head home but don’t? Maybe you just like to let yourself have one or two cigarettes a day to give you a little secret stress relief?

If you’re one of those kinda people, you’re going to want to look for something light, easy and fresh. The best brands for you are probably going to be something like White Cloud or Blu Cigs. The charging carry case with Blu Cigs is great for those that want on the go juicing, but White Cloud offers the biggest range of accessories and range of liquids and flavors.

If you’re an ‘average’ smoker…

Let’s say you’re like me and you smoke a deck of twenty a day. You like the regular cigarettes too – nothing too strong, nothing too light; something nice in the middle.

I’d suggest you start with something like Eversmoke or Green Smoke. These are two brands that not only offer a great imitated smoking experience with good flavors, impressive vapor, and a decent amount of throat hit, but also have the best price and reliability.

After a while, you’re probably going to want to move on to a tank-style unless you quit completely, but if you fancy trying your hands at the bigger vaporizers, I’d probably suggest going for something like Halo Triton Tank – it’s easy to use, easy to refill, a good quality product, and I’ve had nothing but compliments. I went with Jet Black, just in case you’re interested?

If you’re a heavy smoker…

If you smoke more than twenty-five to thirty cigarettes per day, or you smoke a very strong cigarette, you’re going to want something beefier to make the transition easier.

White Cloud offer the strongest cartridges and refill e-liquid at 36mg or 3.6%. This is one of the strongest that I’ve found so far although their e-cigarettes (and customer service) didn’t bode so well.

The regular strongest that you’ll find is 24mg or 2.4% and everyone does this pretty much including Eversmoke, Green Smoke, South Beach Smoke, etc. Out of those three names, I’d probably recommend South Beach Smoke. They have more potential, especially now with their new range of tank-style vaporizers too!

Just a heads up – VaporFi offer liquids that now go up to 36mg or 3.6%, almost making it the perfect tank for a heavy smoker!

If you’re worried about appearances…

If you’re a girl looking for a gorgeous e-cigarette, you’ll love Vapor Couture for when you are out and about. It looks good and everyone seems to love it, although it is thin and flimsy and doesn’t offer much in the way of battery power.

The Halo Triton Tank is available in a beautiful Princess Pink color that most ladies will love too, or the Jet Black G6 from Halo is smart and sophisticated for both sexes.

Men will love the advanced technology that is offered by V2 Cigs, especially the Series 3 collection – masculine, colorful, and stylish – three words that most men would use to describe this sleek looking design!

If you’re all about the accessories…

Let’s be honest about this – an e-cigarette is only as good as the accessories that come with it and although for years I’ve felt the added extras were worthless, there are a few that I have come to rely on.

The charging cases are essential for the two-piece designs otherwise you’ll be constantly looking for an outlet to plug things into. Blu Cigs offer this, as do South Beach Smoke although I’ve found the SBS one to be a lot better quality.

If all else fails and you really don’t know what e-cigarette to go with, just go with the highest reviewed one. You’ve got to start somewhere….
